Abuela Maria Lidia Payaguaje is an experienced Siona midwife and healer from the Putumayo in the Colombian Amazon, who works with different Amazonian medicinal plants.
Together with her husband Taita Victoriano Piaguaje Yaiguaje, she works to protect and preserve sacred indigenous traditions and ancestral values of the Siona people and other indigenous communities in Colombia.
